Commemorative Booklet 2014

Christian Health Care Center’s (CHCC) Tribute in Lights

provides a unique opportunity to remember a loved one or

honor someone special. Tribute in Lights illuminates a main

area of the Center’s lower campus during the holiday season, as

depicted on the cover.

This commemorative booklet contains the names of those

recognized through Tribute in Lights, as well as individuals

remembered or honored in 2014.

Tribute in Lights

We dedicate this booklet to Rev. David P. Krentel, who passed away suddenly on January 23, 2015. David joined the Center in 2004 as the Executive Director of the Christian Health Care Center (CHCC) Foundation. David worked to increase the ministry of CHCC through support from community organizations, individuals, foundations, and various events. During his more than 10 years of service to CHCC, David helped to raise millions of dollars on behalf of its core mission to foster health, healing, and wellness for people of all ages. Additionally, David provided weekly bible studies to residents of Evergreen Court, an independent-senior residence at CHCC.

David’s robust contributions to CHCC went beyond his work. He touched the lives of so many by his presence, compassion, sense of humor, friendship, spiritual leadership, and genuine care to all those he encountered. Through his strategic leadership, gifted fundraising acumen, gentle presence, and ongoing passion to teach the word of God, David made a tremendously significant impact on countless lives at Christian Health Care Center and in the community. To honor his legacy at CHCC, the David Krentel Memorial Fund has been established.
