Celtics vs. Heat final score, results: Butler comes up big as Miami takes 2-0 series lead (2023)

Once again, the Heat have stunned the basketball world.

Miami battled to a thrilling 111-105 win over Boston in Game 2 to take a 2-0 series lead in the Eastern Conference Finals. The series will now shift back to South Florida, where the Heat are undefeated so far in the 2023 postseason.

Jimmy Butler continues to live up to his "Playoff Jimmy" moniker. He led his team with 27 points on Friday night, including several clutch buckets to give Miami the lead in the final minutes.

However, he got plenty of help from the duo of Bam Adebayo and Caleb Martin. Adebayo finished with 22 points, 17 rebounds and nine assists to fall one assist short of a triple-double, while Martin set a new playoff career-high with 25 points of his own.

The Celtics are now in serious trouble after dropping back-to-back games at home. If they can't win four out of the next five games, they'll miss out on a second consecutive trip to the NBA Finals.

The Sporting News was tracking live scoring updates, highlights and key moments from Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
